Ways to get involved…
First let there be no misunderstanding, we need you. It’s as simple as that. There are many moving parts and pieces that go into putting together an orphanage and what is missing is people and resources. We tried our best to put together a list of the things that you might be able to do to help out, money is always a big help as there is never enough of it when it comes to saving orphans. If you want to help out and don’t see something below that you can do then by all means send us an email and tell us what you want to do, chances are we will find a way to fit you in.
- Pray for us. We know that unless God is in the battle there is no victory. We want to follow Jesus’ example by placing an emphasis on prayer, trusting that God will send the workers into His harvest. Pray for the kids who have been considered cursed by their families, that God would bring a measure of peace to their hearts. Pray for the tribespeople who desperately need the saving gospel of Jesus Christ, that their hearts and minds would be opened. Pray for the leaders in authority, that the mission would go unhindered. And pray for the team on the ground, that God will give them strength and courage to love and care for these children.
- Give exposure. Let your friends on the web know about these kids. We are tied into most of the popular social networks. Just click on the links at the bottom of this page and let everyone know.
- Give money. Jesus said that where your treasure is, your heart will be also. We know that some are called to be goers, and others to be senders. The goers could not go unless they are sent out. We ask you to consider the ministry of Drawn From Water as a worthwhile eternal investment of your treasure.We want to be transparent about this, the US-based organization is completely sustained by the organizers and do not take any funds from any donations. So, in other words, all the money received goes directly towards this project – and the kids.
