We just got word that our new relationships with the government are paying off, they heard of five children from some of the remote villages and asked that we go and pick them up. I have to say that we are thrilled to hear this news! We were still not sure how this was all going to work out but apparently its rolling already and all we need to do is get on board!
Still not exactly sure how its all going to work out with space and staff but we will have to adjust on the fly and keep moving forward, the logistics are miniscule in comparison to the five lives that are being saved! Lale will leave Saturday morning with a representative from the government who will oversee the process. We are praying that all goes well and that all five of these children are safe in the mean time. We have not heard anything regarding specific ages or anything like that, but I will be sure to update you once we know more…
