Jessie and have spoken a lot about what other things we can be doing while we are here, although this country can be overwhelming at times we often find ourselves wishing that we had more ways we can be a direct help while we are here, we have found that having four kids is somewhat limiting in what you can do. For instance there are countless thousands of homeless people all around us who are desperate for someone to take up their cause, but trying to help them and keep our kids involved is nearly impossible. There are the few kids who we have gotten to know and are helping as much as we can but beyond that there really need to be more qualified people who step up and do that specific job. But we have found an area where we can help out, we sort of fell into this one and are thrilled about how well it works for us. We get a ton of traffic on the site from people who are already in the process of adopting from this country, we sort of got on the adoption blog circuit (thanks for the links!) and now we are getting emails from people who are getting closer to come and pick up their kids and want a little advice on Addis Ababa. We just so happen to have rented a house with a small guest area down stairs. Its sort of like we did not even plan this but everything worked out perfectly, we started inviting those people to stay with us and so far all of them are thrilled to save the money and stay with us. Plus… (there is always a plus) We are sort of lonely here and need a little company now and again, so why not invite the people who are already coming here to adopt to stay with us? So if you are nearing your adoption…. drop us a line! We would love to have you stay with us. (that is if we are not already booked… you never know this may just go crazy…)

We are not in the adoption process right now, but we are trying to plan a survey trip to Africa. We feel called to work there with our family, but we have some hesitations. We have 4 kids as well. Perhaps we could visit with you guys. We inquired early on about being a part of your work and would still be interested if you need help. Thanks for the updates! So happy about your cow! Do you need a goat or sheep or anything?
