Wow. That is about all I can say these days… Its been a whirlwind of motion as we have started down the new path to get the children adopted. Its been non stop meetings with adoption agencies, long and way to expensive phone conversations with the team back home and enough travel in a beat up early eighties Toyota Landcruiser to make a trip to the moon seem like a jog around the pool. The latest twists in our journey have taken us to the city where we have been for the first time in months making good progress with things. We rented a 500 SQ Ft condo and have set up shop while we get to the bottom of what the next steps are. Our first meeting was with an adoption agency here in the city and at first take they seem like a very good fit. They are one of the few with staff in two locations here, which is the capitol of the state we live in and where the government officials who we are going to be working with are based. It looks like the mountain of paperwork is going to be keeping us here in the city for quite a while. I have to say that it’s a bit of fresh air for us to be here and have access to things like cheese and Pizza, the town where we live is about as far out as you can get without living in a grass hut (although our house is made out of mud)

So we are happy to be here and it feels refreshing to see progress happening. I have pictures and if the internet connection holds out on me even a video of the kids for you so stay tuned over the next week!
