Have you looked into adoption in side country?? Taking the children out of Ethiopia they lose their heritage. Also fostering families are available.

Hi,
I just came across your site from a blog I was reading and was so moved by your journey and the story of these children . My husband and I are hoping to adopt a little girl from Ethiopia and would be very intersted in finding out more about these children. We have 3 children , 2 bio sons (twins age 10) and a daughter adopted from China (age 3 1/2) We hope to adopt a sister for her to share life with. Thanks for any information and direction you can give us.

I am thrilled you are able to move in this direction. I am a little late in seeing this post, but it is an answer to prayer. I am happy for you and for the little ones that will find homes. I would LOVE more info on how we can be involved. We have a little boy from ET and we are hoping that God would have us to adopt again, this time a little girl. If your timetable is slow, as most things are in Ethiopia, that would be fine as we weren’t really looking for this until next summer (to begin). But, we are open to God’s direction and would love to be a part of what you are doing in that way.

I have been reading your website over the last couple of months and am excited to see what the Lord is doing through your ministry in Ethiopia! The Lord clearly has put adoption on the hearts of my husband and I, though we are not sure how it would happen or when. Would you please send us more information/keep us updated on the adoption process so we can make it a serious matter of prayer? In the mean time, we will be praying for your little darlings in the orphanage, your family and your ministry, and for a clear vision of how the Lord wants us to be involved.

Yes, we want a baby from you! God has very clearly called us to adopt in the past few months, but we weren’t sure how that would happen. From the very beginning, I was praying you would move in that direction with the children you rescued. Please let me know what we can do to make that happen.

Wow my husband and I were in the process of adopting from Ethiopia, but the cost was too much. We know God has called us to adopt and are open to praying about your children. Your mission is amazing and my husband and I will continually pray for your ministry.

I am wondering how you are handling the orphan status with these children? I thought that was the initial problem with getting these kids adopted, they don’t qualify as orphans. Also, will you continue to rescue more children from this village and find them homes?
