I guess I better address the question on everyone’s mind…. How much did you raise at the event? All in all including the scooter raffle and silent auction, we raised $4,200 dollars, and got commitments for $270 per month in support.
I have to admit we were hoping for a lot more than that, but we know that things will work out, and most importantly quite a few more people know the story about the children we are caring for and will be telling even more people all about them and their desperate situation.
And since I am in the mood for shameless plugs for support money after standing up in front of everyone last night and getting it all out there…. I am going to ask you to click on the donate button above and sign up for a monthly commitment to help us reach our goal of $2,500 per month. So far we have a little less than $500 in commitments.
Will you step up and help? These kids really need you.

Little is much when God is in it—We know HE will not fail and we pray that many will step up and step in to see the vision through!

It’s a really hard time to raise money, even for great causes. I know for me it’s overwhelming sometimes. So many things and people I want to support, but then I find I’ve given so much of my money and art and time, that I’ve spread myself too thin.
Good luck, and I know you guys will succeed.
