We’re having an event at Old Soul in Sacramento to help raise funds for these kids and we want you to come! Today there are 10 kids who have been saved and we expect that there will be many more over the next few months. It’s an understatement to say that your help is needed…the orphanage is a month old right now and is in desperate need of support in every way.

How Much
The event and the Ethiopian coffee made by Jason Griest from Old Soul is free. We just ask that you consider supporting the kids in the orphanage.

Taxes
Yeah, we can help with that too! We are partnered with a non profit organization and can give you a tax receipt for your donations. Where does the money go? 100% of everything raised goes straight to the kids. Nothing goes to admin or staffing or any of that junk. Just plain good stuff!

Scooter
You could win a 2009 Honda Metropolitan Scooter! We started selling raffle tickets on the blog yesterday and will be announcing the winner at the event!

What kind of event will this be? Well you don’t need to rent a tuxedo or
anything stuffy like that. There is going to be live music and plenty of
photos and information about the kids and their stories. We ask that you
leave your own children with a sitter.
