We are a family of five all US born and raised. We moved to Africa in April 2010 to build an orphanage for Drawn From Water. We are Micah, Emily, Isabella, Noah and Kai in descending age order. This is a new chapter in our lives that we have been planning over the last year but which has been on our hearts for a very long time. Emily was a school teacher for 6 years before becoming the home-school principal, head chef, and organizational director of our home. Micah is a builder/developer and remains such in his new role working with Drawn From Water. Our children are adapting well to their new lives and we hope to show them how to love on others in our new work here in Africa.
